Learning Japanese opens doors
Visit or Live in Japan
Japan has so much to offer: food, hospitality, artifacts, entertainment, beautiful sceneries etc. It is one of the most sought-after destinations in the world. The Yen currency is low and tourism is booming. Will it be time to check off one thing off of your bucket list?
If you wish to live in Japan, there are some ways to get your foot in the door. There will be discussions on visiting and living in Japan in the “one-off” workshops offered in Patreon.
Anime
There are some phrases that are untranslatable to another language. Learning Japanese and the context in which the phrases are used, you will have a deeper understanding of the meaning of what’s being said in Anime and movies. Imagine if you can understand what they are saying without the subtitles.
Job prospectives
There are hundreds of Japanese-affiliated companies in the world. Even with a beginner level Japanese skills, if you have cultural awareness, it is a leg up for you to be a candidate for a job.
Daruma
You set a goal and color its left eye, and when the goal is accomplished, you color in the right eye. There is a Japanese proverb 七顛八起 ; fall 7 times, get up 8. Daruma, with its round shape, even if it gets knocked down, it bounces back up. It represents perseverance, tenacity and determination.
